Biosync Recovery was born from a simple belief: that waste should never be wasted. Co-founders Darren Matity and Brady Marriott launched their first venture, Binmax Services, in 2023 as a boutique food waste recycling company in Kelowna. Beginning as a specialty hauler supporting large waste management companies with missed collections, Binmax quickly built a reputation for reliability and service in the Okanagan Valley.
As regional governments worked toward food waste disposal bans, Darren and Brady saw an opportunity to evolve. Rather than wait for the industry to change around them, they reinvented their business entirely. That decision led to the creation of Biosync Recovery, now the exclusive Canadian distributor for Grease Guardian. At its core, Biosync was founded with a greater purpose: to build a lasting legacy in the Okanagan by keeping grease out of our sewers, waterways, and fragile ecosystems. By intercepting and recycling grease at the source, Biosync is protecting the natural environment that defines this region, while proving that responsible business and environmental stewardship go hand in hand.

Brady Marriott
Brady brings more than three decades of experience in sales, operations, and executive management to his role at Biosync Recovery. His career spans waste management, transportation, and business ownership, giving him a comprehensive understanding of how large-scale operations are built, managed, and grown. Most recently as District Manager at Environmental 360 Solutions, Brady oversaw a team of 48 employees throughout the Central Okanagan, managing municipal waste contracts, KPI development, and daily operations.
Having founded his own sign company in 1990 and later owned and operated a trucking company, Brady understands firsthand the financial and operational demands of running a successful enterprise. His proven track record managing a $48 million government contract and building high performing teams directly informs how Biosync approaches growth, stakeholder relationships, and operational excellence.

Darren brings more than two decades of hands-on experience in real estate and construction to his role at Biosync Recovery. His career spans custom home building, commercial project management, and senior leadership, giving him a rare end-to-end understanding of how physical infrastructure gets planned, permitted, and delivered on time and on budget.
His extensive background in real estate has also given Darren a strong appreciation for the client side of business, including understanding budgets, navigating financial challenges, and delivering accurate and transparent project costs. He knows firsthand that exceptional customer service and financial integrity are the foundation of lasting professional relationships. This perspective directly informs how Biosync approaches every client partnership, with clarity, accountability, and a commitment to delivering on its promises. Combined with his expertise in securing strategic facility locations, managing industrial leases, and navigating complex municipal zoning requirements, Darren ensures that as Biosync scales, every new depot is built right, located well, and backed by a team clients can trust.
